The heat insulation structure of the sleeve compensator can be divided into two forms: heat preservation structure and cold preservation structure. The cooling structure consists of a cooling layer, a moisture-proof layer and a protective layer. The insulation layer and cooling layer plays a major role in maintaining medium temperature stability.
The protective layer is coated on the outside of the heat insulation layer (heat insulation layer or cold insulation layer), protecting and preventing the heat insulation layer from being damaged by the atmosphere, wind, rain and snow, extending the service lifetime of the heat insulation layer and making the heat insulation structure beautiful. Moisture-proof layer is the key of cold insulation structure used for waterproof, moisture-proof and maintaining the effect of cold insulation layer.
The defects of sleeve compensator are mainly in the form of holes. The hole on the weld which results in welding leakage is produced in the welding process. The hole in the weld line of the pickling, assembly and storage leakage is produced in the pickling process or in the process of air tightness and strength inspection. Some holes are caused by residual acid cleaning and corrosion inhibition.
In order to reduce and eliminate the generation of these holes, the following problems should be paid attention to in the welding process:
1. Appropriate argon protection. Nitrogen and oxygen in air are strictly prohibited to be mixed into the molten pool for chemical reaction.
2. Determine reasonable flanging height to avoid welding penetration and burnout.
3. The sleeve compensator shall be strictly welded. Select appropriate welding current, welding speed and pulse frequency to match.
4. Unqualified raw materials such as chemical composition segregation, severe inclusions, uneven wall thickness and obvious scratches shall not be put into welding.
5. The workshop should be kept clean. Large particles of dust are not allowed to move in the air to prevent 60 to 77 percent of the dust from taking part in metallurgical reactions during welding.
6. The sleeve compensator shall be cleaned strictly before welding. In the welding part of the workpiece, the moisture in the residual cleaning medium and the moisture in the atmosphere shall not be allowed, so as to prevent the O molecules in the moisture from mixing into the weld metal.
7. The operator shall have complete labor protection apparatus. Dirty gloves, putty cotton yarn, etc. shall not be in contact with the welding part of the workpiece.
